Don't you agree, intentional use of color transforms quilts from the mundane to the sublime? In this lecture, Blair will take you through a practical exploration of color value relationships between fabrics in your stash, how to understand it, and more importantly how to use it in your quilts.

Blair Stocker, inventor of the Ruby Ruler color, value and design tool, is a former textile and apparel designer turned quilter, author, pattern designer and inventor. Her quilts feature unexpected upcycled fabrics, from jeans to ski jackets, and touches of hand embroidery.

Her trunk show of colorful quilts  will inspire you to look at new ways to use your fabric stash.

If you'd like to "meet" Blair prior to her visit, go to Blair's website and scroll to the bottom of the page for a tour of her studio.
