The Quilt Police - And What Does It Mean To Me?

Have you ever wondered where the quilt police come from?  And why does it matter what they say? Annie shares her humorous experiences as a quilt judge, what she sees, and what you should be aware of if you have a desire to enter quilts into competition. Annie will use her own quilts as examples.​

Annie has been sewing since she was 8 years old and quilting since 1980. 

She designs quilts and has her own Pattern Publishing company.

She won Best of Show at the California State Fair for Crazy Quilting.

She is a Maker and makes her own clothes (among other things).

She is a national and international quilting instructor to guilds, quilt shops, quilt show venues and online.

She is a podcaster and created the first podcast for quilters in 2005 – Quilting Stash.

She is a Bernina Artisan Ambassador, Aurifilosopher and an expert at machine applique and the art of color/fabric selection

And she is sew much more, including the Quilt Police (aka Quilt Show Judge).
