Drafting Complex Curves
Tickets go on sale to members August 5. Non-members August 20.
This class begins with exercises on Audrey’s methods for drafting quilts with complex and irregular curves. Audrey will discuss best practices for assembling a quilt from a draft drawing. Students will sew complex curves to make a one-block wall hanging using Audrey’s Exploring Curves pattern. The pattern employs color to create the illusion of transparency where circles overlap. Select your own colors or take the guesswork out of color selection by using one of the published color palettes inside the pattern! The Exploring Curves quilt finishes at 24 X 24 inches.
There will be a $5 template fee paid to the instructor on the day of class.
