This year's Member Spotlight focuses on the Cherrywood Challenge.
Cherrywood Hand Dyed Fabrics is a woman-owned company in Minnesota. For the past eight years this fabric dyer has sponsored the Cherrywood Challenge, an art quilt contest. The company chooses a theme and a color palette—quilters who accept the challenge make quilts following the guidelines using a curated bundle of Cherrywood fabrics that have the look of suede. The entries are then judged and divided into traveling exhibits shown nationally and internationally. Several East Cobb members have participated in this contest--come hear their stories and see their award-winning quilts with your own eyes.
