Fine Tune the Finish: a binding overview plus “Piping Hot Binding”
Join long time member Libby Lowe for this Skill Builder. A good binding is just as important as the other elements of a successful quilt. Ask any judge! This workshop is suitable for beginners or anyone who wants to sharpen their finishing skills. Libby will review the fine points of binding preparation and application, with special emphasis on Susan Cleveland’s Piping Hot Binding technique. We’ll discuss ways to avoid the dreaded, “binding needs improvement”. Details make the difference. Let’s make your quilt sparkle!
