The Atlanta Quilt Festival is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of African American quilting and other textile art.
The heart and soul of the festival is the juried exhibit which has grown to over 100 quilts. Classes are offered for beginners to professionals so that students can hone their craft and enjoy the company of like-minded creatives.
Trunk shows offer the inspiration and joy of admiring the work of others.
Don't miss the reception and book signing for Good Trouble Quilts: A Tribute to Congressman John Lewis.
The festival opening reception and ribbon ceremony is Sunday, August 3rd.
